This week I make my first non-vegan meal. I decided to add chicken to my vegan salad this week as I have decided due to the current state of the virus I want to make sure I am getting enough iron and protein. I although easily could have left off the chicken.
The ingredients include:
- Chicken
- Loose-leaf salad mix
- Yams
- Tomatoes
- Peppers
- Newmans salad dressing
This meal was by far the best yet, it was refreshing. It was also very filling with the chicken. I also had a bag of vegan chips as a snack afterwards. This was a very affordable meal, it cost around 12 dollars for two plates. The yams added sweetness to the food that was a counterpart to the paprika that was on the chicken.
